1 General, Payments and Cancellation Notice
1.1 All clients will sign to accept Walkies with Molly terms and conditions.
1.2 Walkies with Molly will not confirm any booking until a consultation has been carried out with the client and the contract has been signed by the client outlining the full requirements.
1.3 All payments are due in advance before any service is carried out. If payment is not received, the service will not commence. Payment must be paid upon receipt of invoice, or by a specified date on the invoice, via bank transfer or cash. Please note cheques will NOT be accepted.
1.4 48 hours notice is required for cancellations of services consisting of 1 day. The service can be rolled over to an agreed date within 7 days of the cancelled date, if not, any payments will not be refunded.
1.5 7 days notice is required for cancellations of services consisting of 2 days or more. No roll over will be permitted.
1.6 If the required notice is not fulfilled, no refund will be given for the cancelled service(s) unless due to illness or injury of the pet.

1.8 In exceptional circumstances Walkies with Molly reserves the right to cancel a walk. A full refund will be made for the cancelled service(s) via bank transfer.
1.9 Payment(s) for services covering Christmas and New Year are non-refundable at any time.
1.10 The client must give full details of any medical or behavioural problems concerning their pet(s). It is EXTREMELY important that you inform Walkies with Molly IMMEDIATELY if your pet becomes ill or sustains any injury, and is booked in for services. Failure to keep Walkies with Molly informed may mean the inability to care for your pet, you may still be liable to pay for services, or you may lose any payments you have already made.
1.11 We will use our best endeavors to ensure that client’s keys are kept in a locked and secure place, separate from the clients address and other details. After termination of contract keys will be returned to the client.
Walkies with Molly’s insurance protects lost keys, which means cover for call out charges, expenses, and the cost of replacement locks or alteration to locking mechanisms following the loss of keys.
1.12 Walkies with Molly respects the privacy of all clients. Information held will be kept entirely for the use of Walkies with Molly and is strictly confidential.
1.13 In signing these terms and conditions you acknowledge and agree that any verbal or physical abuse or threats to Walkies with Molly will result in the immediate termination of any agreement or contract held. Any booked services will be cancelled and no refunds will be given.
2 Dog Walking
2.1 Walkies with Molly reserves the right to cut short the walk if they feel the safety of the dog(s) and the walker is compromised, for example but not exclusively, if a dog’s behaviour becomes challenging or in extreme weather, such as thunderstorms or excessive heat.
2.2 If after a walk the dog(s) requires towelling down of mud and or water, Walkies with Molly will endeavour to dry and clean the dog(s) as best as possible. Any subsequent mess once the dog(s) is returned is not the responsibility of Walkies with Molly. Walkies with Molly will not be held responsible for markings or damages to home furnishings such as sofas or carpets.
2.3 Walkies with Molly will never walk a dog off lead unless the client signs the contract stating they give permission for off lead walking.
2.4 Owners must ensure that all dog(s) are insured to cover any third party liability in the event of any loss or damage being caused by the dog(s).
2.5 Walkies with Molly will use their own leads to walk dogs to reduce the risk of mixing up or losing leads. If the dog(s) requires a special lead or harness, or must wear a muzzle, the client must ensure this is available when the dog(s) is picked up. If your dog must be walked on lead, Walkies with Molly will use a harness if only a collar is supplied.
2.6 For your pet’s safety, and as requested by the local authority, Walkies with Molly will securely tag all dogs with the company name and phone number; The client must ensure this tag remains on the dog(s) when in Walkies with Molly’s care. There is a £5 replacement fee which will be added to your bill if lost or damaged whilst not in the care of Walkies with Molly.
2.7 Walk, pick up and drop off times are subject to traffic and weather. Walkies with Molly’s pick-up route and walk schedule on any given day are not guaranteed, although every attempt will be made to accommodate requests. Dogs will be walked in a group they are suited to and may change daily depending on group size and compatibility.
2.8 Walkies with Molly will accept unneutered dogs but they will not be walked off lead. Bitches in season cannot be walked on a group walk until the season is finished.
2.9 In the unfortunate event of an injury occurring when the dog(s) is in the care of Walkies with Molly, initial First Aid will be administered until the dog(s) can be taken to the vets recorded above under the client’s instructions.
In the event of an emergency, Walkies with Molly will attempt to contact the client on the numbers provided to confirm what action they would like to be taken. If the client cannot be reached, Walkies with Molly will either:
• Transport the dog(s) to the listed veterinarian
• Request on-site treatment from a veterinarian
• Transport the dog(s) to an emergency clinic if the previous two options are not feasible.
Great care will be taken of all dogs, however if the client’s dog(s) needs to go to the vet whilst in Walkies with Molly’s care the client will be liable for all vet’s fees, however any injury occurred.
2.10 Under new Government laws, all dogs over eight weeks of age must be microchipped as of 6 April 2016. Walkies with Molly will not accept any dog(s) until proof of microchipping has been shown.
2.11 All dogs must be up to date with worm and flea treatments to avoid contamination of other dogs in Walkies with Molly’s care.
2.12 Walkies with Molly abides by the Local Land Laws, Dog Control Orders, and Dog Fouling Regulations.
3 Pet Feeding
3.1 Walkies with Molly can administer basic medication as part of the pet feeding service.
3.2 Please ensure you provide enough food, litter and, where appropriate, medication for your pet whilst you are away. If Walkies with Molly needs to pick up more food, litter or medication there will be an additional charge of £20 per trip to cover costs and travel as well as a charge for the product(s) bought.
3.3 Walkies with Molly’s insurance states that premises must be left locked and secure, therefore requests such as leaving windows open will not be accommodated.
4.1 Walkies with Molly holds full public liability insurance and a copy of the certificate will be given to the client along with a copy of this contract.
4.2 Owners will be held liable for all medical expenses and damages in the event of any injury caused by your dog(s) to a member of staff.
4.3 Walkies with Molly will not be liable for the transport of dog(s) to and from any vets or kennels (this may be provided at our discretion) or, the medical treatment of the dog(s) and any related expenses.
